The New England clam chowder was the best. The lobster roll was okay. The deli is take out only no seating. There is a park across the street. There is no deli for the bathroom. There is a public bathroom across the street. View all feedback.
What Saul Wyman doesn't like about Downeast Deli And Boxed Lunch Co.:
The lobster was extremely small. Make it in 4 bits. I think it's a comparison in my hand. I cheated when I usually ate bread and very little lobster. Do not recommend this place. When it tasted lobster, it was okay. If I compare it with iconic lobsters like Bit in Maine, I would say that it is nowhere near and does not eat the lobster on the Deli. View all feedback.
The food was excellent. I ate there twice during the week. The first time I met the owner, she was lovely. She gave me a significant portion of chicken salad on a Kaiser roll. The next time, I got chicken salad on a sub roll, and the portion was significantly less. I am still hungry now.
Lobster rolls were tiny compared to some other that we tried. However, they still tasted great!
$40 for two of the most uninspired sandwiches. Eating here is a once in a lifetime opportunity do it once and you'll never be back again.
Got a turkey sandwich and it was awful. Airport quality food. Terrible bread.
Best price in town for rolls, their lobster rolls are made of claw meat, which is tenderer than tail meat. I wish they offered crab rolls. They don't have a seating area.
