Anchorage - Bar Harbor

This is an excellent and budget-friendly option for anyone visiting Acadia. The staff is truly exceptional! They provided us with fantastic recommendations for dining and the best scenic spots, making our trip incredibly enjoyable. All their suggestions were spot on. I will definitely return on my next visit! The rooms were clean and cozy, comparable to a hotel. Plus, it's just a short and convenient walk to the city center. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bar Harbor—5 out of 5 stars!

This hotel is situated in an excellent location just a short walk from the shops and restaurants of downtown Bar Harbor. Upon check-in, we found the staff to be incredibly friendly. Susie, the receptionist, was especially welcoming and even took the time to ask about the walk we planned for the next day. Although the motel is quite basic, it is spotlessly clean and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would definitely return! Plus, having coffee available in the lobby is a wonderful bonus. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

The Anchorage Motel is ideally situated in the heart of Bar Harbor, making it a great base for exploring the town and just a short mile away from several entrances to Acadia National Park. Each room at the Anchorage Motel has been recently renovated, featuring new carpets, fresh paint, comfortable beds, updated bathrooms with tile or modern wall panels, a lovely TV, charging ports, and a refrigerator. I stayed in two different rooms, both of which were exceptionally clean, particularly the bathrooms—it's always nice not to find any stray hairs from previous guests. Compared to other accommodations in Bar Harbor, the Anchorage Motel offers a fantastic balance of quality and affordability. I’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone at the Anchorage Motel, especially Janette, Brandon, and the rest of the team, for their incredible support in helping this mother move her son without any issues!

Just a few minutes' walk from downtown Bar Harbor. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and a very good overall experience. It was a few miles to the Sand Beach entrance to the Acadia National Park.... so in the morning we checked out, we had time to shower and change after a hike.

We stayed for 3 nights. The place is completely remodeled with new rooms, everything is super clean and staff is very friendly. We even had free coffee in the morning. Rooms are good size and they have low rates. Perfect location for the park and walking distance into the town!
