Nice refreshing option in bar harbor when you crave more vegetables and a healthier meal! We had poke and it was pretty good! We also came back for drinks on another day and our drinks were good! Ps: patio is dog friendly! View all feedback.
What Emily S doesn't like about Aloha:
Expensive and subpar food. There was little poke in the bowl and it was drowned in the toppings. We were left with a lot of rice and no protein to eat it with. They only provide tap water unless you buy their bottled water. Expected more from a restaurant located in a town known for seafood. View all feedback.
Visiting Bar Harbor for the day and found Aloha offering just what we were looking for in a meal. I had the lobster roll and my husband, who is native Hawaiian, had a poke bowl and spam musubi. Both meals were very good, only downside was the cost. We just had soft drinks and the bill was $80 before tip.
Service was quick, easy to order and the poke bowls were delish! I would go back again. Off the beaten path from the hustle and bussle of downtown and lots of parking on the street.
Yum yum yum. This was my first time eating poke and I didn't catch her name but thank you to the hostess, she was very nice and helpful and made great recommendations. The cheesecake was really good too.
Don 't come if you want to order Poke. I never had not a Poke poke like this. It is just a bowl full of rice with super sweet and oily salad source. That 's it! You cannot taste anything other than the sweet salad source! The 'crab salad ' is fake crab, just sweet red flour. Not much veggie either. The good part is when a lobster poke is out of lobster after you ordered it, they provide couple of extra scallops. It is priced $28 for a bowl of sweet rice with an out of order lobster poke. I will say it is over priced if it is $8. I say 8 only bc there are couple of scallops in it.
Cute little place with a variety of food options. I did the build your own poke bowl and my friend had a margherita pizza. Everything tasted great and the portion sizes are generous. It is a little on the expensive side but in a tourist town it's expected.
