Wow, what a fantastic little flat! It's surprisingly spacious and has everything you need, whether you're by yourself or with a friend. The place is immaculate and inviting, with fresh flowers on the mantle and vegan cookies waiting for us in the kitchen. Catherine and her family are incredibly dedicated to making you feel at home, ensuring you’re comfortable and safe. You’ll find yourself surrounded by beautiful walking trails, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful getaway. If you're looking for a break from the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect place. Plus, the flat features its own private garden straight from the bedroom, which has the coziest large bed. I can’t wait to come back! Updated from my previous review on September 11, 2021.
We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful, clean cottage for a few days. Upon our arrival, the delightful host had left us some delicious vegan cupcakes and cookies (so tasty!). The cottage is really charming and conveniently located right across from a pub. It's also very close to both Loch Lomond and Stirling. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and highly recommend it!
This flat is absolutely stunning and located in a peaceful area, conveniently close to both beautiful countryside and historical sites (the Roman Antonine Wall is just a short walk away), as well as larger cities, if that’s more your style. The flat is impeccably furnished and decorated, reflecting the artistic eye of its designer, creating a tranquil sanctuary. The living room is very comfortable, featuring a sofa and several beanbags to suit your mood. Throughout the space, you'll find abstract art pieces created by Catherine herself. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need for an extended stay. The bathroom and bathtub are delightful. The bedroom is fantastic; I wish my own bed were that comfortable! The host family is wonderful, and I can’t wait to stay here again soon!
