Dougie's Grill - Bankstown

Although I did not try the famous dougies burgers or meal combos, I had the chicken ribs and the U.S. fries. The chicken ribs were tender and juicy with a generous amount of tangy BBQ sauce slathered on it. With the U.S fries, the heaping amounts of sauces was very overpowering, although the cubed pickles added a nice crunch and fresh factor. The price was good for the serving especially since I ordered sides. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and attentive. Considered the amount of deliveries and orders they had, food came out very fast. Laid back atmosphere.

Price was good for meals/combos, staff were nice, restaurant was relatively clean, food portion was reasonable, I ordered the cheese burger, it had all the flavours there but the size of the beef patty in my burger was similar to the size of 2 chicken nuggets put together, I was basically eating bun, sauce and lettuce for a majority of the time until I reached the middle with a few bites of my small beef patty. They also didn't provide tap water so we had to buy a beverage. (Bring your own water bottle, don't get the cheese burger if you're a big eater)

Greatest burgers ever, very clean, was even missing a few dollars from buying a meal. However, the cashier offered to shout me a few dollars and I was greatly thankful for it. Overall, great food and service.

Ordered a Mediterranean Lamb burger by itself. Great portion, fillings were nice though it was definitely missing a spark for me. Not sure whether it was my particular burger that lacked in some sauce-lovin' or whether it's personal preference, though it tasted nice, I did find it abit boring. I would say the price was a little steep for what I received and it slightly put me off to try the Camel burger for next time. I will have to try elsewhere if I return to a burger phase.

I'm a regular here and food is consistently great. Decent sized burgers, great menu and friendly staff. If your not after just a burger they have lots of healthy alternatives and the price is decent for the size of your meals you get.
