Description
At this chicken and taco eatery, patrons share a mix of experiences that paint a picture of a restaurant needing significant improvements. While some enjoy the Nashville hot chicken and recognize the appealing flavors, others report issues like incorrect orders, dirty tables, and slow service in an uncomfortably cold environment. Food safety concerns have also been raised, with instances of allergens present in orders. Despite the potential of tasty offerings like tacos, inconsistent quality and presentation leave many hopeful for better management and a commitment to cleanliness. Revisiting may depend on how management responds to customer feedback and makes necessary adjustments.

On August 16, 2022, my daughter, two grandchildren, and I visited this restaurant. We placed our orders but had difficulty finding a clean table to sit at, as most were dirty with napkins, straws, and crumbs scattered about. We had to request a cloth to wipe down our table. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, with only a handful of customers present. When my daughter and grandson went to pick up condiments to accompany their meals, they discovered that the packets were covered in a sticky substance for an unknown reason. When our meals arrived, the mac and cheese appeared fine at first glance, but we soon realized it was burnt on the bottom and inedible. It seemed as though the tables hadn’t been properly cleaned, despite the staff not being occupied. Some of the cooks were standing around and chatting, while the cashier was not fulfilling any duties. It felt like the employees either lacked motivation or had not received adequate training. I hope the restaurant can resolve these issues to avoid losing customers in the future.
This location is a complete mess! The management needs serious improvement. Firstly, why is it so cold inside the restaurant? It feels like the North Pole! Secondly, my group and I waited nearly an hour for our food while freezing in the cold. Thirdly, I asked for more gravy on my potatoes, but didn't receive it. Lastly, the cleanliness of the restaurant was absolutely unacceptable. I would be willing to revise my review if KFC makes some improvements.
My niece wanted to celebrate her birthday at KFC, but we were nearly freezing! The air conditioning was cranked up, making us uncomfortably cold throughout our meal. My food cooled down quickly and wasn't pleasant to eat. Even though it was November and chilly outside, the temperature inside the restaurant was just as cold. This was the second time we've encountered this problem at this location, and we won’t be returning.
I ordered the largest bucket of chicken from KFC and was told it would take 15-20 minutes, which made me think they needed to prepare more pieces. I agreed and was told to pull up. However, less than two minutes later, I received a full bucket of chicken. When I got home, I noticed there were two different types of chicken in the bucket. I had specifically ordered the style without dairy because my daughter is allergic. For their convenience, they included another style that contained dairy, which could have made my daughter very sick if I hadn’t noticed. KFC’s handling of this is dishonest and dangerous in my opinion. Food safety should be fundamental to their menu offerings, but they clearly failed to meet that standard.
I love this chicken spot! I ordered the Nashville hot chicken. At first, I thought it was a bit dry, but then I realized it was just the sauce that was hard to see—it blended in with the black container. When I put some on my finger, though, it was bright red. One small issue: there were no pickles included with my chicken. I also expected a square container, but it turned out to be circular, similar to the ones used for some Taco Bell items like Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes. The chicken itself had a nice crispy breading on the outside. I also got a Doritos Locos Taco from Taco Bell. The taste was good, and the lettuce was fresh and crispy, but the overall texture could use some improvement. The hard shell felt soft and broke easily, creating a mess. The ground beef was also a bit mushy, similar to the refried beans. Fortunately, that didn't affect the flavor. Overall, I would definitely come back to both places to try more items. However, next time I order a Doritos Locos Taco, I hope they improve the texture. It’s a great spot if you’re in the mood for chicken and tacos, as the two restaurants are conveniently connected.
