This restaurant is fantastic! The food is delicious and the service is excellent. A special shoutout to Ian for his help, hospitality, and friendly service. His smile added to the already great ambiance of the restaurant. Overall, a 5-star experience for both food and service.

This restaurant is fantastic in every way. The food is excellent, the staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere is nice. We dined in for dinner and were impressed with everything. The price per person ranges from $20 to $30. We would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5. We highly recommend trying the Timber Burger, Parmesan Fries, and Calamari.

The Pros: they hired a competent decorator who elevated the elements of the area to make it fairly chic they offer the food landscape hope, but with little payoff (see below) The Cons: the cost is astronomical the wait staff are either just fine or do not know what they're doing the FOH and BOH aren't managed very well, from my experience the food isn't great, especially not for the price the restaurant relies on their vibe to sell overpriced food, that's too concept for the area (for any area), and lacks flavor the kitchen sprayed whipped cream over a burnt crème brûlée crust (see photo) too little parking Not for nothing, but I ended a romantic entanglement here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options Free parking lot

Had lunch here based on reviews. Was not disappointed! Great selection of menu items, excellent service, and reasonable prices. The food was excellent!! We shared the mac and cheese and the squash soup. Both were delightful. We also had the hand madepasta with chicken and the wedge salad. Delicious! Great choice when in Bangor. Indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of parking, and you can even see the Paul Bunyan statue across the street!

Timber Kitchen is attached to the Residence Inn. Normally, that would bother me but restaurants being a ?part? of a hotel/motel seems to be pretty common in Maine. There is a nice looking outdoor seating area but it was rainy when we were there so no onewas outside. The inside is very inviting with lots of creative use of wood. It?s a good size restaurant with a long bar thathas seating as well. The service was commendable. The wait staff helps each other delivering food and clearing dishes from thetables. There was a slight snafu where we had a couple of empty glasses on the table while the waiter was attempting to arrangethe pizza cones. Rather than remove the glasses, he just squeezed the cones between every thing else (our table was a small twotop). Then he left the empty glasses. The food and drink menus have plenty of options. It?s refreshing to find a place thatdoesn?t just serve french fries with lobster or crab rolls! They have lots of creative choices, and we had a hard time decidingwhat to order. We had a couple of draft IPAs that were good but pretty pricey. Generally, we pay $5 $7 and these were $9 $10.They were served in mighty fine flutes so there?s that. The food was delicious. We had the smoked seafood chowder, Three Pigspizza and Forest Mushroom pizza. The chowder had great flavor, and we liked that they crunched up the oyster crackers on top. There could have been more seafood and less potatoes but I?ve haven?t found a place in Maine yet where it?s any different. Thepizza dough was thin and crunchy just the way we like it. The secret ingredient is cheese, and both pizzas had just the rightamount. The Three Pigs had pepperoni, sausage and prosciutto. All the meats were tasty and we especially liked that there wasn?tmuch fat on the prosciutto. And the mushroom pizza can?t go wrong with roasted wild mushrooms, arugula, fontina cheese, andtruffle oil on a white base. Yum. We enjoyed both but push come to shove we?d pick the Forest Mus
