Evenrood's - Bangor

The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I had a delicious Ahi Tuna that was truly outstanding! It's a wonderful place to dine.

After reading reviews and checking out the menu, we drove to Evenrood expected there was a long waiting time to take place. We were pleasantly surprised that we were sitting right away. Nearby there was live music that was added to an already large outdoor seating area. The food was delicious and more than enough to make sure we leave full with our belly nabel. We'll be back.

My friends and I dined at Evenrood's last night and we were absolutely impressed! We started with the Buffalo Cauliflower and the Spinach and Artichoke Dip, both of which were incredible! The Spinach Dip was genuinely the best I've ever had! For our main courses, we ordered the Pasta Primavera (which was simply delicious), the Shrimp Scampi (light and flavorful), and the Tuna (beautifully presented)! The service was outstanding, and overall, it was our favorite meal during our time in Bangor!

Dear Evenrood, Thank you for last night. It was a beautiful thing we shared. From the ambiance to the Black bear blue shine to the spinach strawberry salad to the lobster Alfredo, it was one fine idea from you after another. Your chef is working hard to bring elevated fresh food with an individual touch and I really appreciated the effort. And that?s not to say that my meat-and-potatoes partner didn?t find your burger divine, ?cuz he did. Staff was attentive and quite pleasant even when one of our party sent back a meal, not charging us and reassuring us that you were only concerned that we enjoy our evening. You left us with a lovely impression of Bangor. Thank you!

The ambiance of this restaurant is exactly what you hope for; it features a beautiful setting. However, the lack of attention to acoustics was disappointing—it has the noisy vibe of a middle school cafeteria. I won't criticize the service, as I understand that many restaurants are understaffed and doing their best. I didn't try any seafood, so based on other reviews, that might be a better option. The buffalo chicken dip was tasty, but the steak was incredibly disappointing; it seemed like it came from a bargain bin at Walmart. The enchiladas were mushy and lacked flavor, and the burger was unremarkable. To be honest, you'd be better off at Applebee's. Plus, Blaze, just up the street, consistently offers a much better dining experience.
