Lovely views, tranquil setting. Expensive 7 oz white Drouhin wine. The wine was nice, but expensive at $20. Ordered cauliflower salad. It was curried, and quite good. However it would have been better with a bed of greens. Friends ordered the potato salad and it was basically a pile of diced potatoes. Hard to find the eggs and capers. Perhaps skip the salad, and enjoy the wine, and ambiance. View all feedback.

Have gone to the Banff Springs Hotel for Afternoon Tea many times. The last couple of years the price has gone up and the service has gone down. They used to offer up all the different teas for you to smell and could try a few selections. Now you just order off the menu and they bring you a big pot of your one selection in a Tea bag. You used to get the tea and poured it and was all part of the experience. Also the c... View all feedback.
Came her for afternoon tea. Cost $82 for ages 13 and over. $42 for 12 and under. Be prepare to pay the premium. Paying for the service and experience. The service was great. Got a spot nice spot with a beautiful view. However, I'll say I have better tea's at home. The scones were good but not all of them were equally as good. It was surprisingly filling.
FABULOUS VIEW!! Can’t complain. Server was nice. Everything was so clean and beautiful and on brand. The guacamole was thebomb.com ! So good we had to order it twice. Popcorn was okay needed salt. The flatbread was super fresh and flavourful! Espresso martini was really really good. We were able grab our drinks and sit on the lookout because they weren’t serving out there we just did this and it was perfect. Pretty expensive but great views!
My bf and I came for Afternoon Tea and there had been a mixup with our reservations. Although I wasn’t impressed with the way the host handled their error, I didn’t let it ruin our afternoon. He did end up finding us a table so the drive from Calgary wasn’t wasted. Our server was delightful and so was the tea and presentation of the sandwiches and sweets. The ambiance with the amazing Mountain View was wonderful. Rocky start but ended pleasantly.
Came for a light lunch to see the hotel and enjoy the amazing view. I liked the casual and welcoming ambiance despite it being in a very luxury hotel. The staff was very friendly. You are paying for the view and experience. The food was yummy (pulled pork sliders and Reuben sandwich) but the portion could have been slightly bigger.
I’ve been here at least five (5) times now and I absolutely love this place. So many good spots to hang out in and the staff were very accommodating. In addition to the location, the ambiance, the unbeatable views and the vast drink menu, the staff were impressively attentive and the bartenders have made numerous customized drinks for us over the course of our visits. I highly recommend sitting in the parlor room by the fireplace, especially on cold winter nights. Then try the spicy jalapeño margarita. It’s not on the menu, but you’ll love it! Thanks Rundle Bar for some great nights!
