What idash dislikes about Fairview Restaurant:
Before booking Lake Louise lodging, I looked up restaurants it seemed like I wouldn’t have a problem eating here. It has been very difficult with food other than salads. I’d recommend staying in Banff where it’s easy to eat, and coming here for a couple of day trips. #Veganuary View all feedback.
Great views of the lake and food/drinks were delicious
The view from this restaurant out was so beautiful. We all got the bison ravioli, which was delicious, but I could have had a bit larger potion or a side. The desserts were fine.
There are signs everywhere warning people who aren’t guests to stay off the premises.Ignore them, and drop in here for a coffee, souvenirs, or a surprisingly good lunch (the bison ravioli was superb).They have an app to book your slot, but we just turned up and were seated, served quickly, and given a great meal for lunch at a decent price.While you’re waiting enjoy the extraordinary view, and the hotel surrounds (but the extensive building work makes it unpleasant to sit outside right now).There’s also a grab and go with decent coffee, rolls, salads and massive pastries.Well worth the stop, even if you can’t afford to stay here.Dietary restrictions: A good range of GF option, and staff were totally on top of this.
It's a great experience eating our lunch in this beautiful restaurant! We are definitely looking forward to eating here again.
