The lounge has a casual atmosphere and is perfect for enjoying drinks after skiing or grabbing a laid-back dinner. The server was well-informed about celiac disease and was able to advise me on which menu items could be prepared gluten-free, even confirming with the kitchen. The server provided excellent service. Although the menu does not indicate gluten-free options, you can speak with the server for assistance. The gluten-free dishes were clearly marked when served. Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable.
I was disappointed with the slow service at the restaurant. Our waiter was friendly, but seemed overwhelmed by the large crowd. The food, especially the impossible burger I ordered, was not good. It was dry and too salty, leaving me wondering how they could get such a simple dish wrong. In general, the experience was expensive and mediocre.
The food and service at this restaurant were fantastic. However, at 9pm, the music suddenly became unbearably loud, making it impossible to have a conversation. It was strange because up until that point, everyone was enjoying their meals. It felt like we had suddenly been transported to a club. We had to hastily settle our bill and leave. It was a disappointment.
Food was great tonight. I ordered the wagyu burger $30 plus poutine fries on the side $8. The tuna sashimi honestly though, the portion was very small for $22. But the service was fast and nice enough. Came here the night before also (on site restaurant for Lake Louise Inn) and got the salmon with veggies, shrimp, and lobster risotto. Plus, calamari was good. The risotto had a few hard bites but the rest of the meal was excellent. Service on Tuesday night was crazy with only 1 server and long waits but I understand times are tough.
Not a bad spot when you don't want to leave the hotel. The fish and chips are great! Big hefty white fish fried in batter and served with French fries or you can upgrade to poutine. The vibe is a young college student hang out. There's darts, foozeball, big tv for watching sports and a full bar.
