I had an excellent experience at this restaurant, enjoying both the food and service. I appreciated my gluten-free dinner, while my dad savored his regular meal. For the first time in 14 years, I was able to indulge in battered fish without any worries, and my entire meal was delicious! I had no adverse reactions afterward. The restaurant offers gluten-free flour and bread, and the staff are knowledgeable about gluten-free options and cross-contamination issues. Although gluten-free choices aren't specifically marked on the menu, they are eager to accommodate and provide customized options. While they don’t have a dedicated fryer, making deep-fried foods off-limits, pan-fried dishes are safe to enjoy. The restaurant may not be fancy, but the quality of the food makes it worth a visit. As someone with Celiac disease, it’s rare to find such knowledgeable service and quality gluten-free options.

The menu didn't indicate which items were gluten-free or offer any substitutions, but the staff were very knowledgeable about gluten-containing foods, such as sausage links. They had gluten-free buns and bread available and even inquired about my sensitivity to gluten, asking if they needed to use different gloves. The server also confirmed that my meal was gluten-free when she brought it to the table.

Absolute little gem in Bancroft. Made my breakfast gluten and dairy free with ease. Strong reactive celiac and anaphylactic allergies and had not one worry. Affordable friendly and yummy what more could you want

Fantastic dining experience! I ordered the fish and Caesar salad. The fish was beautifully coated in a tasty gluten-free batter and pan-fried to perfection. The Caesar salad featured a homemade dressing and didn’t include croutons. The meal was delightful, and I felt assured that precautions were taken to minimize cross-contamination. However, since they don’t have a dedicated fryer, it's best to avoid any deep-fried items. The staff appeared to be well-informed about celiac disease.

They have the most amazing HOMEMADE gluten-free bread that they offered me during the off-season. It is fluffy, flavourful and delicious. They mentioned they have more gluten-free options in the summer so I am curious to test that out in the summertime.
