crabs were the best? very well seasoned. I would strongly recommend to them to get their next row of cocks before the summer of them ends. they were very customer-friendly. had a light mixup with picking them at my end, but they were very accommodating. it was a pleasure to do business with them. do you think that crumbs were tasty? twice, I bought fried wings platter. the first wings were too salty, so I tried two times to salt again. this time I called to inform them that this is the 2nd time to buy wings that were too salty to eat. the personal was nice, but she didn't offer any kind of compensation for the inconvenience. I've been to this restaurant about a dozen times, and the customer service has consistently been excellent. I did have a disappointing experience with the crabs once, but apart from that, they are usually quite good.
I had the fried whiting served with macaroni and cheese and greens. The fish was tasty, but it could have used a bit more seasoning. The macaroni and cheese was just okay, while the greens were quite good. I also ordered the garlic butter crabs and seafood salad, both of which were enjoyable.
I just got home with a lake trout sandwich and fries, and I had a terrible experience. On my first bite of the sandwich, I nearly choked because it was filled with bones from the fried pieces of lake trout. I couldn't eat it without the risk of swallowing bones. I called right away to express my concerns and was told that the owner or manager would call me back tonight, but I'm still waiting for that call and a refund. I'm really disappointed; I feel like I've wasted my money—$14 for a sandwich with just lettuce, tomato, and fries. Consider this a warning.
I had my first crab box recently, and it was quite tasty. The seasoning and sauce were fantastic, and I can't help but wish I had ordered the larger box with more crab—though that might be a bit greedy of me! Tonight, I went for the fish and crab cake combo, along with the deviled eggs. Overall, the fish (swai) was slightly over-seasoned, and the mac and cheese was a bit on the bland side. However, the collard greens were bursting with flavor; I could have happily eaten a whole bowl of those!
I've been a regular at this restaurant for a few years, but sadly, my experience tonight was terrible. The crabs were either burnt or soggy inside, and in either case, they were mostly hollow. Out of six crabs, I could only eat two, as the others were unfit for consumption and ended up in the trash. The crab legs were dry and lacked meat. Overall, this was far below the high quality I'm used to at this place. If it was near closing time,
