I visited this restaurant twice in Baltimore. As someone originally from Thailand, I found the food to be delicious, prepared by kitchen staff from Thailand. I tried the panang curry with jasmine rice for the first time and ordered it spicy level five, which had a good kick. The flavors were a balance of spicy and umami, giving it a robust profile that is typical of Thai cuisine in the United States. During my second... View all feedback.
What brooke murphy doesn't like about Thai Street:
They said they could make my dish without nuts because i’m allergic and I found cashews in my food. I went to ask for a new one or a refund and initially received no help but was later contacted by the owner who refunded me. Although the food was not satisfactory for me I appreciated their eagerness to correct the situation. The Thai Tea was good! View all feedback.
The Thai food at this restaurant is exceptional and rivals some of the best Thai restaurants in the country. The drunken noodles, papaya salad, panang curry, and red curry are all delicious, especially at level 3 or 4 spice. Be cautious of level 5 and 6, but try them with a Thai ice tea if you can handle the heat. The staff is friendly and efficient, with a special mention to Evan and Anthony who manage the place with great skill and hospitality. I will definitely return to Thai Street, it's a gem to have in the neighborhood.
The restaurant's quality varies. I have eaten at Thai Street multiple times and have tried different dishes each visit. The basil fried rice is delicious and I suggest giving it a try. However, my Pad Thai lacked flavor. Sadly, it was the worst I have ever tasted. I hope that Thai Street can improve the consistency of all their menu items. Otherwise, dining here will always be a gamble.
Great, efficient, with a kick. This Thai restaurant has everything you could ask for. The staff is extremely accommodating. My wife has a soy allergy, and they were able to provide multiple options for her to enjoy. They took the extra step to suggest dishes and confirm with the chefs to ensure her safety. It's one of my top picks in Baltimore and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty and quick meal.
There is a great Thai stand located inside Broadway Market. The service is friendly, the food is good, and the atmosphere is lively. It is located in the charming Fells Point neighborhood, with plenty of street parking available. There are also other restaurants in the market area. Parking options include lots of free or metered street parking in the area, which is fairly walkable.
The pad thai at this restaurant is packed with delicious flavors! It has a perfect balance of savory, sweet, and spicy, and the portion size is generous. The coffee was also tasty, although it was a bit too sweet for my liking. The ambiance in the market where the restaurant is located isn't the best, but that's not the restaurant's fault. Just be cautious of sitting under the pipe labeled VENT as it was dripping brown water, which was slightly concerning. Overall, as long as you avoid sitting under that pipe, you should have a fine dining experience.
