One review mentioned a lack of proper ingredients used in the dishes, such as canned tomato sauce instead of homemade. Another customer was unhappy with the balsamic vinaigrette dressing they received, and noted that the staff did not provide attentive service. This is our all time favorite restaurant. The dishes are consistent, service is quick and friendly. Since coming to know Peachy, we feel like family when we're there. The veal dishes are wonderful and gnocchi are terrific. I'm italian and I'm picky about my sauce. Sabatinos sauce is very good. Love this place! View all feedback.
What Johanna Schell dislikes about Sabatino's:
The worst meal ever. Dry, over cooked, tasteless and food frozen or canned. No butter, lemon or wine used as stated. Just corn starch. Tomato sauce canned and pasta not home made. What a huge disappointment. View all feedback.
The restaurant was nice some of the customers were loud talking with neighbor table. The food was ok, had the short rib ravioli as appetizer, it was good. Then i had the veal medallions and some were really tough and had no taste needed salt. .
Our table for 6 was ready when we arrived! Service was great! Gnocchi was the highlight! Baked rigatoni, eggplant parm, fettuccine Alfredo were all delicious! Wonderful chocolate mousse cheesecake, cannoli and tiramisu. Thank you, Sabatino’s!! Looking forward to returning soon!!
I was really disappointed. A co-worker used to bring me eggplant Parmesan from Sabatino's 20 years ago and I LOVED it. I graduated from Strayer University at CFG Arena and wanted to go to Sabatino's for my graduation dinner. I was so disappointed and I won't be going out of my way to go there again. Oh well... This restaurant felt like home! I remembered going as a child and decided to revisit as an adult on my trip to Baltimore. Everything about Sabatinos was fantastic. The atmosphere feels like your in your Italian grandparents house. The staff were extremely friendly and even though we showed up a half hour before our reservation they seated us right away. Service here was so quick, but it didn't at all feel rushed! Our waitress Linda brought us fresh water and continued to keep our water roped off through the meal. We ordered a cherry lime soda cocktail and a white sangria to start. The cherry lime soda was incredible It tasted like a rich black cherry soda extremely refreshing. The sangria was equally refreshing and they seem to have a VERY LARGE selection of wine. Linda brought us bread as well and the bread was massive, soft and clearly fresh. We placed our order for Tortellini in the tortellini sauce and eggplant Parmesan. The food came out before I could finish my first slice of bread! Oh my goodness I can't explain how deeply delicious and rich with flavor the tortellini sauce was with peas carrots mushrooms it. The tortellini itself was so delicious and the portion was massive! The eggplant Parmesan was also phenomenal and came with a side of pasta. On our reservation we noted it was our anniversary and before we left they surprised us with a brownie and candle and wished us a happy anniversary! This meal truly made our trip worth it and I will absolutely be coming back! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
