The menu is a bit disappointing, not many selections. The portion was really small even for a lite appetite. The food was prepared well and was delicious. It was our first time there so we didn't know what to expect. It's a tough time for the industry so we need to cut them some slack. I'm sure we will try it again when the Covid restrictions are lifted and it's safe to dine inside
Me and my colleagues were guests at the Revival Hotel and wanted a quick, light dinner before a big work day. While we were bummed about the understandable closing of the indoor restaurant, dining outside at Topside was a pleasant experience. We were right across from the beautiful park where someone was playing cello, and the weather was a nice, early autumn cool. The food was excellent! We shared a crab cake that was fresh and delicious, and the fish tacos were flavorful and fresh too. I'd def eat there again, hopefully indoors from their beautiful looking rooftop restaurant next time
The place was nice but underwhelming. There was very little signage to help you find the restaurant. The food was lacking in flavor and was overpriced. I had the crab pasta and there was very little crab in it. The burger my friend got was honestly better than the crab pasta. It was tho so it should have been good
This place has so much potential, but the food is overpriced and extremely bland. Something needs to be done with the menu and who is coming up with the preparations of all the plates. I have lived in Baltimore for years and have given this place tries with their food. I will only go for drinks from now on until the chef is changed
This was our first meal out during COVID that was indoors. I trusted that Topside would do this well and chose a datetime where I thought it would be best case scenario. I had told the staff that it was our anniversary and I did not expect that anything would come from that, but we were met with a great table with the view and complimentary champagne! Our server, Jade, was so careful and safe but also really easy to talk to and was really fun and knowledgeable. She helped us make our choices and the drinks and food were amazing. The curry shrimp appetizer was amazing and my crab pasta dish was easily, the best pasta dish I have had since being in Italy years ago! SO GOOD. Topside continues to be at the top of our list of places to recommend to others but also when we want to treat ourselves. Thanks to the staff and to Jade, for making our anniversary great
