standard room with a few small issues. the table with the coffee maker was very flimsy. Maybe the legs could be tighten a bit. the other small issue was the coffee cup lids are too small for the cups. third the tv would regularly turn off and return to the home screen. the hotel as a whole was clean and well maintained. wasn't the quietest stay I've had but there was alot going on that weekend so it was busy 24-7 whi... What John Alhelm doesn't like about Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace:
Do not stay here. 4pm check in, they advised the room wasn’t ready yet. Went about our day and came back at 7pm, they again advised the room wasn’t ready. We ended up going out to dinner, came back at 9pm and guess what..the room still wasn’t ready. Another half hour later I was finally fed up and went up to complain and they said the room is ready. Room was nice and cozy, but something sticky on the floor so I can't give it 5 stars. Didn't really have much interaction with staff other than check in and the women at the desk were friendly. Did not eat or drink there. Location is very nice and within walking distance to a lot, however, the shopping area is like a ghost town with maybe a handful of stores that are open. Rather depressing. I realize it's not the hotel's fault but for a city, other than the aquarium and eating/drinking there isn't much around anymore.
It's really nice and their rooms view are beautiful. It's clean and it has a great restaurant. The only is the parking lot is separate. Everyone really makes you welcome.
Stay overall was uneventful. I was upgraded when I checked in which was very kind of them to do. I had issues with communication during my stay I tried to called for room service several times and was met with voicemail. I called the front desk several different times and no one ever picked up. Ended up going down to the restaurant to order food and it was pretty overpriced for what they give you. Wouldn't recommend staying here
