Piazza 27 - Baltimore
Piazza 27
Description
This neighborhood spot offers a mixed but promising experience. While some pizzas arrive underwhelming—flavorless or tough crusts—others shine with well-balanced cheese, savory sauce, and satisfying freshness, especially late at night. The menu is impressively diverse, featuring standout items like shrimp quesadillas, salmon cakes, wings, and subs, praised for their flavor and quality. Service is generally friendly and accommodating, with quick and accurate orders even during late hours. Though occasional misses occur, the reasonable prices, welcoming atmosphere, and late-night availability make it a worthy visit for casual dining or a late bite.

Thought this place was okay. The pizza crust was a bit too tough for my liking. Usual amount of toppings, but could have used a bit more sauce. If you're a sauce fan like me, consider asking for extra sauce on your pie! Takeout was hot and fresh! And I appreciated the smaller size of sausage crumbles.
Delicious pizza! I absolutely love the veggie delight, and the service is fantastic—definitely a 10/10! Just wanted to add more to my review, so here it is!
As a native New Yorker, I have strong opinions about pizza. Whenever I visit a new pizzeria, I always order a plain cheese slice as my benchmark. The flavor of that slice determines whether I’ll be interested in trying anything else or if I’ll return. To me, a good pizza has a distinct taste that many places in Maryland seem to lack. But I'm pleased to report that this cheese slice was nothing short of perfection—and it was reasonably priced! Lately, I’ve encountered places charging $6 to $8 for a slice, which is just outrageous. But Pia2Za managed to deliver the right amount of cheese, a simple yet tasty tomato sauce base, and a crust that held its shape beautifully. Best of all, when I folded the slice, the grease dripped down my arm—pure bliss! Looking at the menu, I see a variety of items I'd love to try, including cheesesteaks, stuffed mushrooms, fried mushrooms, and fried zucchini. I really hope this place thrives and sticks around because a quality sub shop that won’t break the bank—unlike some others right around the corner—would be a fantastic addition to the area. I will definitely be returning!
Pizza was ok.It took absolutely forever and the place was empty so it made no sense. Fries were cold and soggy because the pizza took so long.My partner got a cannoli and it had two little balls of cream on the ends but was hollow inside.Save your money unless it's your only option.
