The ambience was nice. My waitress was amazing. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and thought it would look like the photos posted but mine looked disproportionately different. It tasted delicious though so that's really all that mattered. After I finished dinner, the rain had stopped and I went across the street to Ouzo Beach and had a few drinks overlooking the water. Beautiful evening.
My husband and I enjoyed lunch there yesterday, and we very rarely get to eat out because we have triplets so we are very picky! It was superb. The waiter was amazing, got our requests perfectly and was just wondeful. The calamari, fresh fish, tuna, appetizers...everything could not have been better. Honestly we will be going again and I am going to take my parents there!!
What a wonderful restaurant with a great staff and fantastic atmosphere! The food was so delicious from start to finish. The waitress was so nice and knowledgeable. I even appreciated the manager coming by when the food was dropped off just to tell us to enjoy our meal and ask if we needed anything else. Definitely returning!
I went past Ouzo Bay on a trip to Baltimore before and it’s ambiance intrigued me from the outside. The next time I came to Baltimore, I made a point of trying it. I was on a trip to celebrate my birthday was looking forward to trying a new restaurantin a city that I have grown up visiting. From the start, the manager was very welcoming and presented me with a birthday card onbehalf of the staff. I was also given my seating preference from the reservation. This restaurant has a lovely ambiance withmodern fixtures and lively but controlled music. The menu here is very expansive and mixes Mediterranean classics with someunique dishes. This began as early as the complementary bread that was served. Instead of standard sourdough with olive oil, bread with raisins was served, which was a flavorful surprise early on. Next, the trio of spreads — a selection out of fouravailable — was delectable. My favorite of the three I ordered (traditional hummus, tzatziki, and a date, goat cheese, andherb spread) was by far the goat cheese spread. It was a step above a typical cheese spread offered at many Mediterraneanrestaurants in that it introduced a naturally sweet option to pair with pita and crudité. For my second course, I ordered thegrilled Portuguese octopus and charred calamari. A refreshing elevation to typical “American cuisine”, chargrilled calamariis a rare menu item. The dish exceeded my expectations, especially granted it’s difficulty to prepare. I could easily cutthrough each piece and the grilled squid was plated nicely with frisée and feta cheese on top. My only complaint of the eveningwas that the octopus was more dry and a little chewy. Grilled octopus is my favorite dish at most restaurants, but I believe thegrilled calamari should always be your first choice here. My third course consisted of lamb meatballs and the flaming saganaki,a dish I have seen presented before at other restaurants, but never tried myself. The saganaki is brought out from the
Thank you for helping to make my father’s birthday dinner great. We appreciate our waitress who worked hard to accomplish all of our many allergies at the table. The bronzino was okay but had far too many bones for my liking. I thought it would be afillet. The service was exceptional. The grilled vegetables were delicious albeit eggplant was overcooked a bit and super soggy.Five stars for exceptional service but more like three for the food.
