I previously left a positive review about the food at this restaurant, but I was disappointed when my friend picked up another order for me and received more food for the same order. I am not sure why I received so little food for $14, with just a scoop of rice and very little meat on the tacos. It seems like the restaurant is not consistent with portion sizes. I will be avoiding this establishment in the future and... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lora's Fireside:
Do not order the number 2 breakfast plate. It was served poorly. I was almost given only eggs. I don't know if it's because we are in a shortage of beans..the cream was just a sample, cheese and avocado...barely there...a double whopper would have been more substantial. I will try pupusas instead. View all feedback.
This continues to be the convenience store of inconvenience. They lock the doors late night but will be present and mocking if you are looking to patronize after hours.
This is a super cool place. Don't let the neighborhood scare you off. The food was incredibly fresh and amazing. And cheap! This is a super small restaurant with only a few tables for indoor seating. The kitchen is right there and they make everything to order. I have only had the Chicken Enchiladas so far, but it was on point. From a food standpoint, it comes across as Tex Mex, but in reality it's more like being in someone's kitchen in their home. If they have the ingredients, you can probably get whatever you want. The two ladies in the kitchen were super sweet and welcoming. I would definitely classify this as a solid place to try out!
Not accessible. The food's flavor was great! The steak was a bit tough. The prices were more than fair. It's not in the best area of town, I would visit while it's still daylight out, but I would definitely visit if possible for a good meal. They were cash only despite the sign on the door so come prepared.
Good home cooked Mexican and Central American food at good price.Very friendly and helpful. It's been consistence over 10 years. I get the Desayuna, tamales, and tacos regularly.
Delicious food at an affordable cost. I like coming here on my work break, a nice short walk over. Staff are very friendly.
