Bar Liquorice offers an enjoyable experience. The owner has decorated the space in a charming, homey style, featuring many quirky and fun elements. The popcorn is also quite impressive. I would definitely return!
What a wonderful bar! The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, and he's treated me to free dessert on a few occasions. The complimentary popcorn is a nice touch as well. Everything on the menu, from food to drinks, is exceptional. The bartenders are fantastic, too. The decor is great—there's a back room with a couple of couches and a coffee table, along with some comfortable chairs. I can't recommend this place highly enough! Everyone I’ve sent there has enjoyed it just as much.
I don't normally write reviews, but after my first visit to Bar Liquorice, I felt it was necessary. This bar is fantastic on its own, but what really stood out was how the owner treated everyone as if we were guests in his own home, which made the experience even more memorable. It's an excellent spot for a delicious cocktail in a cozy atmosphere. Plus, the complimentary popcorn is amazing!
I was visiting Baltimore for the first time and ended up here because a neighboring bar was closed. I think it was the happiest accident of my trip. This place is great, the back looks like someone's nice living room. The drinks are really good and the owner makes really good popcorn he gives away for free. The owner was also very entertaining and kind the whole time we were there. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants unique drinks at at unique bar.
Easily one of my favorite, if not my favorite, neighborhood bars. Jeff (the owner) is the nicest guy you'll ever meet and the staff is great as well. The complimentary popcorn and sweets are great, it's the little touches that really set this place apart. The whole bar is so cozy and the decor is one of a kind. The cocktails are great and there's always a good beer selection. I haven't tried much of the food in my trips here, but the chocolate bread pudding is to die for. I'd you haven't been here, you're missing out on a gem.
