What Lonie Price dislikes about Indigma:
I've had delicious meals here and tonight I was disappointed in my entree and was never given the opportunity to share that with the team. The service here tends to be low key but accommodating and attentive enough, but tonight we waited an unusually long time for our check. I'll return again because I've had such great experiences in the past. View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant was delicious and unique, with a good variety of gluten-free and vegan options which I found to be very accommodating. However, my dining experience was slightly marred by a 20-minute wait before someone finally took our order, despite being one of only five tables in the restaurant at the time. It seemed that the person running the show, who I assume was the owner, was juggling multiple tasks such as answering phones, seating guests, taking orders, and making drinks, while the servers seemed disorganized and only focused on bringing out food. We were repeatedly told that our server would be with us shortly after indicating we were ready to order. Overall, the restaurant seemed poorly managed.
We arrived early for our reservation and were surprised to find the restaurant quiet for a Friday night at 6pm. After noticing a happy hour advertisement in the window, we decided to sit at the bar. The Maitre D, who was serving as host, bartender, and waiter, greeted us and informed us about the BOGO free drink special. We took advantage of the offer and enjoyed the cocktails, although they were not very strong. We also tried an open-faced samosa, which was filled with Indian spices and potato - a unique and tasty dish. Moving to a table, we ordered lamb and cheese croquettes (with more lamb than expected), a chicken and lamb dish, and creme brûlée for dessert. The standout dish was the samosa. However, we found the prices of extras like naan and creme brûlée to be a bit high. It was also surprising that the manager appeared to be the only employee working on a busy Friday night. Overall, it was a good dining experience and we plan to return to sample more of their dishes.
The Food was really good and interesting. They had many gluten free and vegan choices which I appreciated. But we waited minutes until someone took our order. When we arrived we were the table in the place. The guy (who must have been the owner) was answering phones, seating people, taking orders and making drinks while the people dressed as servers of them were only bringing out the food and after telling them we were ready to order said our server would be over shortly. Poorly managed.
The food at this restaurant was delicious and had a nice variety of gluten-free and vegan options. However, we had to wait 20 minutes to place our order even though we were one of the first five tables to arrive. The person, who appeared to be the owner, was multitasking by answering phones, seating guests, taking orders, and serving drinks while the servers, who were dressed as such, only brought out the food. When we tried to order, they told us our server would be over soon. Overall, the restaurant seemed poorly managed.
