Tofu brah is the only vegan option that's an entree (they only have 5 entree options though). It's $9 on bread and $12 with rice. The bread is pretty small (see pick) but just enough. If you really want to be full try it with rice (but you miss out on yummy rice flour bread). It tastes exactly like the online description: peanut sauce etc. the cole slaw is made super well and overall makes it super satisfying. I wish... View all feedback.
What Nieve doesn't like about Ekiben Eastern Ave:
Stopped in for dinner after seeing this listed on happy cow, wish I would have read the description more carefully. I had the tofu bun, not knowing the bread contained dairy. The tofu was nice but that was an upsetting discovery so my view of the meal is tarnished. We also had the tempura broccoli which was pretty good, but if you order it take it out of the container so it doesn't get soggy from the sauce at the bot... View all feedback.
The restaurant offers a beautiful array of Asian dishes with intriguing combinations of sides.
The venue looks fantastic! It’s even better in person than in the photos, with a focus on the details that create a fun atmosphere for guests. My favorite feature was the Endor poster. As for the food, I had the tofu brawl, and it was delicious—perfectly executed and an amazing value for the price! The Thai icy wasn’t great, but the yuzuade was delightful. I went to this restaurant last week. I told them I was vegan and tried to order a dish in the reviews here recommended. the court had her buns in it. I was told that you hate milk from the coworker, but I could order the same dish as a bowl without the bread that I did. had the tofu brah bowl, tempura broccoli, and red beans and rice. I recommend them all!
This place is absolutely phenomenal. the Tofu beung is incredibly delicious and they actually get a good amount of tofu. the tempura broccoli side is also delicious and I rarely order without it on that is also because, as someone mentions when they are hungry, the bungalow is not filling . gott here!
As others have said there isn’t a lot of variety but the options they do have are pretty good. I had the tofu bun. The tofu was too crunchy in my opinion but everything else was really good. Updated from previous review on 2021 05 27
