Absolutely the best! The atmosphere, the people, the food and drinks—all fantastic. It's a simple and laid-back place, but the food is truly exceptional. I love the combination of dishes, especially the calamari salad and all the different calamari options. The selection of oysters is always fresh and varies. The burger, oyster stew, and roasted carrots are all standouts. Even if you’re not a fan of oysters, you’re s... View all feedback.
What Ben Wilton doesn't like about Dylan's Oyster Cellar:
The oysters were tasty, but the main dishes fell short. An $18 oyster sandwich served on Texas toast with just a bag of chips? That wasn't what we anticipated! While the fish and potatoes were decent, the beans tasted stale. And what happened to the kale salad? This restaurant doesn't live up to its former glory. Our server was excellent, but the food was a letdown, and we won’t be returning. View all feedback.
Always love everything here. Perfectly shucked oysters, an excellent burger, well balanced drinks, tasty dessert, and an awesome vibe. One of Baltimore’s best spots for sure
A small but amazing place. Oysters are the star, but the other dishes are great. Mussels are amazing consistently, and the burger is also a stand-out. Cocktails are serviceable, the beer on tap is good (try the Positive Mental Attitude). Can be noisy at peak, and get there early or the oysters may be all gone.
Everything about our dinner was perfect! Our servers were incredibly friendly and made sure our 10 year old granddaughter had a blast. Thank you Dylan's for encouraging her love of oysters!
Quite enjoyable experience! Love to take myself out to eat and new to the city so stopped by. Intimate level lighting with good array of table sizes. Cute bar and pretty booths. Ordered Anchovy starter which was a nice salty punch on soft French bread. The salad was very green and standard. Dressing was fresh! Not a standout but would get again. Had the fried sea bream and it was so delicious. Enjoyed the flavor of the sauce and really noticiable bones so easy to pick out. Nice to know they have no freezers and change the selection up. Rhubarb crumb cake was very tasty but think the rhubarb compote/sauce ? needs a little more acidity to help with the neutrality of the cake. Enjoyed my gin martini as well!
We visited Dylan’s Oyster Cellar this evening after being at the Brew at the Zoo event here in Baltimore. We are ‘out of towners’ and this place came up when we were in search of a place for raw oysters. Let me tell you, this place did NOT disappoint. We had zero wait, the place was extremely clean, the staff were super personable and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. 10/10 would absolutely recommend! Don’t worry guys we will be back for sure :
