The service is incredibly friendly. Costiera offers a wonderful atmosphere that combines modern style with a cozy touch and great attention to detail. The dishes are outstanding! What AFRONITA dislikes about Costiera:
Poor service and overpriced. The prices are misleading as well. Portions are tiny and the dishes lack flavor. I don’t get the hype around the focaccia—it was dry and overly greasy. I ordered the octopus, and it came as just one small tentacle, one asparagus spear, and three-quarters of a baby potato! The service was disappointing, too. One server asked me twice if I wanted to pack up my food while I was still eating,... View all feedback.

A true gem in Fells Point! We decided to check out this new spot because the menu seemed adventurous, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. We started with the house-made focaccia—simply incredible! It was so delicious that I immediately trusted the chef and wanted to try everything on the menu. Since we were heading to a movie afterwards, we kept it light with the arugula salad and mushroom soup. Both were outstanding! The salad had a perfect balance of flavors—the arugula, mustard vinaigrette, apples, and blue cheese came together beautifully. I’m not usually a fan of blue cheese or fruit in salads, but this was the perfect combination. The mushroom soup was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, topped with fresh goat cheese and pine nuts. I wished I had ordered a second bowl! The creativity and talent behind this unique menu really shine through. We’re excited to come back and try more dishes based on this awesome experience. To top it off, there’s a $5 parking garage right across the street, which is very convenient for the area. I highly recommend Costiera—mainly for the inventive menu, but also for the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service!
