A neighborhood eatery that alternates between lively nights and frustrating inconsistency, drawing crowds with an energetic bar, friendly staff, and standout bites like salmon nuggets. Regulars praise the atmosphere and service, but recurring complaints cite takeout errors, missing or underfilled dishes, price discrepancies, and occasional poor food quality. Great for a spirited night out, yet unpredictable inventory and order accuracy mean bring patience—your experience may vary.
It was a disappointing experience that felt like a waste of $62 and a long trip into the city. The everything egg rolls had very little filling and tasted stale. The crab egg rolls were overpowered by mustard and had a mushy texture inside, with hardly any crab meat, and both were quite small. Additionally, the prices listed online were much lower than those at the restaurant. The catfish sandwich had a large piece of fish, but it was served on the tiniest slice of bread. I made an effort to support a small business, but it just didn’t live up to expectations.
This is my favorite spot when I'm in town. The atmosphere is fun, and the food is fantastic! The crowd is great too. Shout out to Noel for being an amazing bartender and Diamond for being a food expert! Looking forward to seeing everyone again on Wednesday!
I discovered this restaurant on Instagram and thought it looked amazing, so I decided to go there with a few friends for some karaoke fun. We arrived on a Wednesday, and as soon as we sat down, I inquired about any specials and the start time for karaoke. The AMAZING bartender informed us that the karaoke host wasn’t showing up that day and that the specials were only available on Thursday and Friday. The TV wasn’t on either, the kitchen had run out of wings, and several customers came in only to leave shortly after. It was quite disappointing.
Waste of $62 and a long trip into the city. The everything eggs rolls had little filling and tasted old. The crab egg rolls tasted mostly of mustard with the consistency of mush in the middle. There was very little crab and both egg rolls were small. The prices online were also significantly different than the ones in the restaurant. The catfish sandwich had the biggest pieceof fish with the smallest sandwich bread ever. Once again I went out of my way to support a small business only to bedissatisfied and disappointed. I will not patronize this business nor go out of my way for any business again.
