I was here twice in a week. scorchin burger is absolutely phenomenal. all working here are great people who care about their taste buds. my taste buds have actually threatened to leave me if I don't enjoy a burger from here at least once a week from here. I digresse, it's on the back of mt. vernon marketplace. a lot of fun. View all feedback.
What Shad Mann doesn't like about Between 2 Buns:
Not the best. Between 2 Buns is located in a small corner of the Mount Vernon Marketplace next to a ramen place. The food service was pretty slow and the food itself was OK. I wouldn’t really recommend this place. View all feedback.

The waker was delicious. Friendly staff. Fries are tasty. Not too pricey.
Ok seems like I LIVE in 520 Park Ave, Baltimore Maryland-Mt. Vernon Marketplace I didn’t have to look the address up . Well...that should resonate with YOU. It means that this place has some quality spots to indulge in!! GO!! Nevertheless, this time, I visited @between2bunsburgers !! You read that right...Between Two Buns!! So this place has some signature burgers, with pleasantly odd toppings on them like their Baltimore Blues Burger topped with pear jam, bacon, balsamic caramelized onions, walnut oil, Point Reyes blue cheese, and arugula $11 , and their “Scorching” burger topped with sriracha mayo, Hawk Hill Habanero cheddar, pickled jalapeños, pickled horseradish, hot sauce, avocado, and tomato $11 . We got their popular Bacon, egg, and cheese burger pictured with bacon, sunny side up egg, sharp cheddar, tomato, smoked shallots, and their B2B sauce $7 . Now I don’t normally get sunny side up eggs, but I understand how the yolk acts as a conduit to the other flavors of the food...so let this one slide. The burger was decent, cooked medium well with crispy bacon, and their Between 2 Buns sauce that settled the taste off. We will definitely go back to try another!! Their sides include $7 baskets of fries $4 if it’s a side dish with tons of different sauces to choose from like bacon jam, and Peruvian green sauce. Aite...their Poutine..they have a Buffalo chicken and a Cuban Poutine, we tried their classic Poutine that’s too many Poutines in a sentence . It’s fries smothered in veggie gravy, with fresh melted cheese curds. Yung...these joints are bomb!! Trust...I promise you I’ll look for this style of fry everywhere I go from now on. They also have some specialty Mac n cheese that I will try the next time I go...yes I’m returning to this spot!! Their customer service was a tad bit rushed, they were busy, but it was understandable and doable. Parking is so so, it’s metered. That’s it. My order took forever to come out, the two friends I was dining with had ordered from other places, gotten their food, and eaten by the time my burger had arrived. I asked how thick the burger was when ordering, because I was thinking about getting the double patty option, but the guy who was taking my order looked at me like I had two heads. Best I could get out of him was they were 6oz each. When it came out, I got two hockey pucks of grey, unevenly cooked beef seasoned with pretty much just salt and pepper on the outside. Too tall to eat with two patties, so just skip that. Tried splitting it into two and eating it as open faced sandwiches, but that just exacerbated the weirdness of it. Didn't finish it because I couldn't subject myself to it anymore. Two stars because the fries are pretty dang good though.
A great little burger bar inside Mt. Vernon Market Place. Has a long list of specialty burgers, I always get the Peruvian Chicken Burger and Hand Cut Fries. They also offer an equally long list of special sauces. The food is great, my only knock on the place is the chef only cooks the burgers one way (medium rare).
