Baja Fresh Mexican Grill - Baltimore

When I finally returned to my room and tried my steak Baja Bowl, I was really let down. The meat had a texture more like roast than steak—it was cut and cooked poorly. This disappointment extended to the veggies I had to pay extra for; they were also cut badly. You might wonder how they could be cut wrong, but I ended up with a boiled onion ring and some rings of pepper. Overall, I was very disappointed.

I visited this restaurant for the first time after hearing positive reviews, but I ended up feeling disappointed. I spent nearly $10 on lunch for a tasteless burrito bowl that only contained rice and beans. I had to pay extra for dry chicken and additional vegetables. The salad was completely flavorless—thank goodness for salt! I won’t be returning. They didn’t offer negative stars, so I had to settle for a 1-star rating.

They surprisingly included corn without an extra charge! However, I find the prices to be a bit on the high side. Considering the amount you're charging, I believe the portion sizes should be larger. Also, it would be nice if napkins could be included in the bag without having to ask for them.

The quality of the food was disappointing. I ordered a Baja bowl, which is supposed to include vegetables, but the server informed me that it doesn’t. That’s clearly stated in the item description. The meat was gray, and the rice was tough. The only decent item on my plate were the chips. I wouldn’t return to this restaurant.

This is the worst-run restaurant I have ever encountered. The staff doesn't even seem to know their own menu. They informed me that I couldn't have roasted vegetables with my Baja bowl, even though it's clearly listed as an included ingredient. They charge extra for lettuce, and almost everything else, so a bowl that starts at $7.99 can easily end up costing $12 without adding guacamole. I hardly ever eat here, despite it being my favorite choice in the food court, because I can't afford to spend $12 on lunch every day, not to mention the unpleasant service experience.
