Aloha Sushi - Baltimore
Aloha Sushi
Description
Aloha, recently under new management, has undergone a notable transformation that reflects a mix of experiences. Guests appreciate the serene atmosphere and cleanliness, often praising the warm, attentive service. While some dishes, like the Korean Chirashi Bowl, have received accolades for freshness and flavor, others, such as the spicy salmon poke salad, have fallen short of expectations. The bar area has also garnered attention, with lively music and friendly bartenders creating a welcoming environment. Overall, Aloha presents itself as a casual yet stylish spot for dining and socializing, though consistency in food quality remains a point of concern for some patrons.

I used to go here regularly but now it is awful. I understand that we don't get real Wasabi, but the knock off horseradish they provide is horrible with little to no spice to it. The pickled ginger was bad too! I kept chewing, but it never dissolved. It was like chewing paper. After several attempts to chew it up totally, I just ended up spitting it out. I only ordered an avocado roll but it took forever to be done. You would have thought I ordered a whole meal or specialty roll it took so long. It wasn't horrible because it's just rice and avocado, but dare I say the nori must have been old or stale because it wasn't easy to chew either. Guess I'll have to look elsewhere for edible sushi. This was such a disappointment! Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
I ordered the yaki soba with shrimp and it was so good my bartender and server was very attentive to my requests. The food was great but not piping hot like I like it. I also liked my avocado cucumber rolls. I will be back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
