Very average. Not sure why this gets such good reviews as it is nothing special. All three of our meals were ok but not great. Service was not very attentive. No Tobasco or any hot sauce (and only plastic sachets of the sauces they do have which sets the tone of the place. Rather bland flavours in all three mains. My pepper sauce was a pepper gravy. Super meal .lovable lady who serves us. we had to wait a whore while we were for the meal.but it was worth it.
Called for Sunday dinner, it never disappoints great eating and brilliant staff all very friendly and helpful
From the friendly smile of welcome to the wave goodbye as we left, this pub had it all. The food was just wonderful, I had the Glenarm Bay Lobster and the men had the steaks cooked perfectly to their exacting standards. The other ladies had scampi and turkey ham which they thoroughly enjoyed too. Although the restaurant was full, the staff were attentive and friendly, obviously well trained! Washroom was spotless, always a bonus. Definitely worth a visit ! We'll be back!
Once again, The Halfway House outside Broughshane does not let you down. We booked a table this weekend where we experienced great customer service and amazing food. The Hamill family and their excellent staff always go out of their way to make sure all their guests are being well looked after. This is undoubtedly the best restaurant in the region.
