The males felt very uncomfortable and after tonight my partner doesn’t want to return. We ate in both restaurants this month, Sat 13th and 31st Jan, same experiences with two young waitresses with blonde hair. It has been commented in our work circles and wider friends of similar experiences. It’s a pity as the food is beautiful but just a very strange atmosphere and when working professionals, it is nice to enjoy an evening out. We have never experienced that level of unprofessionalism elsewhere. I rarely leave a poor review but would go elsewhere for service.

This place is no more than a glorified cafe that charges restaurant prices. take your money somewhere else.

Speedy and attentive service. Extensive menu, largely chicken and beef but some nice fish alternatives. Large portions. COVID measures in place. Nice addition of toiletries in the bathroom. We had come to the area because we had been told, that not only was it a very unique place with a lot of history about the Monrovian settlement but that there a... read more We had come to the area because we had been told, that not only was it a very unique place with a lot of history about the Monrovian settlement but that there also was a very good restaurant here. The Millside turned out to be the place where locals were coming for their Sunday lunch. A first for us, and Rachel our server welcomed us with a lovely smile. We both went for the 3 course and it was very tasty indeed. We did share a starter, Garlic mushrooms and spring rolls. Then we both enjoyed the roast with all the trimmings. For dessert one had the icecream with fruits and the other had the cheesecake and both went down a treat. The ambience of this place is lovely and we will definitely be back.
