This was my third visit to the restaurant and unfortunately, everything we tried to order was not available. There was a long wait between each course and we had to wait for 45 minutes after requesting the bill. I was very disappointed with the experience this time and have decided not to return.
This charming restaurant could benefit from filling in the gap between the bar and dining area for a more peaceful experience. Aside from that, the food and service were excellent.
Service was fine overall but staff seemed to be very busy with take-aways and I felt the normal restaurant service suffered. We had to wait over one hour for our meal to arrive.
Incredible experience. Food was delicious and staff were super friendly.
Very disappointing main course ordered rack of lamb which was mainly fat and very little lamb. Ruined an otherwise good meal: To compensate I was given a free dessert but the disappointment remained. The experience at the Holestone is normally excellent but not on this occasion may have covid to blame?
