Rooms: excellent, s... read more Sent a lovely few days here in April 2024 for Herself's birthday. I'll break down the review into three categories: Rooms, Food, Atmosphere. Rooms: excellent, spacious, clean, water pressure and temperature were great. View of the beach, castle, and water were fabulous. Parking is street parking across from McMunn's Food: unbelievable. Had the mussels, crab claws as starters both were very good. Mains: lamb, steak, cod, duck. They were all excellent. They cooked the steak to your tastes. Lamb was tender and full of flavor; cod was light, flaky, and excellent; duck was lean not fatty as some can be, prepared with skill and full of flavor. The sides all complimented the mains. Desserts were the lemon cheesecake and the chocolate cake amazing. Atmosphere: Service was attentive and professional. Una and Greg were excellent and gracious hosts, very personable and great for a conversation. Bar and music was full of good craic. I can't stop raving about the place. We will be back

We had a wonderful time and relaxed with drinks at the bar afterwards. We will definitely come back again in the future.

If you find yourself in Ballybunion, this restaurant is a must-visit. The sunset views from the window seat were absolutely beautiful.

The drinks, the service, everything was fantastic. There were 4 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Ballybunion.
