I found upon arrival we were an inconvenience to the older guy with the glasses who worked here, we sat down politely, but he was clearly put out that we sat do... read more I found upon arrival we were an inconvenience to the older guy with the glasses who worked here, we sat down politely, but he was clearly put out that we sat down at the only empty table which hadn’t been cleaned yet and we had no issue with waiting for it to be cleared. He blanked all of us at the table awkwardly whilst cleaning it. Another couple came in and asked could they sit at a different table and the other staff member told them no, they needed to stay where they were as she was too busy to clean the coffee cups away. A huge inconvenience for her. So that couple left. Rightly so. Our food arrived and was very average and not worth the price as it was trying to be more than a basic coffee shop. Eggs were under cooked. The staff we found was the main issue here unfortunately. Very unwelcoming and customers are clearly an inconvenience to them. My advice is avoid this place! Unless perhaps it changes it’s management as it is obvious the issue is across the board here

Went cafe de mode this morning we ordered there breakfast stacks it all sounded very nice on the menu but what a disappointment I didn't expect them to be a shr... read more Went cafe de mode this morning we ordered there breakfast stacks it all sounded very nice on the menu but what a disappointment I didn't expect them to be a shredded pile on a plate, presentation as though for a little child,The sausage and bacon both looked old as if they were cooked a few days ago dry hard greasy plastic and reheated few times before actually been served, the breakfast was like a mess of recycled chopped up food so you couldn't recognise how old it was. At no point did anyone ask how things were I didn't cause a fuss as I'm a believer you get one chance with food and people eat with their eyes you can do a breakfast stack without that mass of mess. The sad thing is this place was recommend from a family member in New York

Food was fab, lovely fresh salads, tasty meat (Beef for me, Pulled pork for my wife). Very friendly welcome and service. Will definitely be back, thanks Dave and the team.
