We had the most amazing wedding day at the Stephouse 5 weeks ago! Clodagh did an amazing job along with the help of Richard, Rutha and Alan. Any queries we had, Clodagh was there to answer them. Everything was perfect and it made our day so relaxing. The food was amazing and some of our wedding guests have returned to the Stephouse for the food again! It's that good! Our friends are still talking about the food and we're so happy to hear everyone enjoyed it. Thank you so much for everything xxx we would highly recommend the Stephouse for your special day!
Dream venue for our dream wedding! Idyllic, relaxed, beautiful scenery in the garden. Perfectly manicured flowers. Rooms were beautifully styled. The food from start to finish was plentiful and delicious. We received so many compliments about the venue and deservedly so. The staff were so helpful, friendly and accommodating, special mentions to Clodagh, Richard, Jason, Rebecca and Ruta for their wonderful management, attention to detail and genuine care for the bride, groom and all the guests. Lovely location in Borris Village. Known locally as the wedding hotel Does a fantastic lunch and always busy. Check with hotel for days open. Visited recently for lunch after nearly 3 year absence, food quality still excellent but service has gone very slow and its not the junior staff.
We went for a dinner with my boyfriend. The service was excellent. Even though we were a bit late they provided us with the table! The booking is essential. The food was amazing. This is my second experience in the 1808 Brasserie Cellar Restaurant and it was just the same, bravo! We ordered roast breasts of chicken and slow cooked feather blade beef. And the dessert left me speechless... it was just a dream: classic Creme Brulee with Raspberry sorbet Thank you very much! It turned out to be the great day... with the proposal in the end!
