The café opens nice and early and is a welcome change to the usual business breakfasts served in hotels. It is not easy to find, so keep a look out for the two hotels between which it is located.I especially liked the use of old vinyl record covers as menu covers! Nice to see thought has gone into the café. View all feedback.

We popped in for afternoon tea, arriving at 2:30. Advertised closing time is 4pm, so we had plenty of time.Had great coffees/tea/chai latte and a scrumptious slice. However, we were very put off by the staff cleaning the toilets, immediately off the dining area and then sweeping the whole dining area while we were eating and drinking. We left at 3:15, still with plenty of time before advertised closing time. This is th... View all feedback.
Our family had two of the best breakfasts here while we stayed in Ballarat for vacation. Delicious, fresh food and hands the best Hollandaise sauce you can find. Warm, old-fashioned service for adults and children. We were all made to feel welcome and we went with full belly beaks ready for a day of seeing. Did I mention big coffee?! Thank you.
I ordered the soup of the day: it was pea and ham soup, scones, roobois tea and my partner ordered an egg Benedict with extra ham. The staff there were so friendly, someone even checked twice whether my partner ordered a correct order with extra ham! They were nice and we had a good chat there!
One of the best Brekkie in Ballarat. Eggs Benedict with homemade Hollandaise sauce was to die. Nice and strong hot coffee. The staff is super friendly with fast and efficient service. Very recommended!
Very nice café, food well prepared and presented, friendly staff and there is a very nice outdoor area for meals. Good price for breakfast or lunch. Adequate selection of cakes (some homemade, cookies or small snacks. Check opening hours, closed on weekends and 4.00 afternoon. Opens about 7:00 or earlier for breakfast. Can really recommend this café. Location is just a short walk from Sovereign Hill Ballarat, between two Main Rd Motels.
Food was great and service was excellent. My wife and I ordered 1 portion and decided to share as we felt the portion would be too much for one person, the waitress bothered to split the portion into 2 separate plates for us before serving. Very thankful for the care and excellent service attitude.
