We were pleasantly surpris... read more We stumbled upon this fantastic small bar-restaurant-cafe-takeaway and were immediately drawn in by the enticing aroma of their food. We were pleasantly surprised by the affordable pricing of their wine, which was the best deal we found in Balestrand. The service was excellent, with the staff always being friendly and welcoming with a smile.

If... read more We have been following some of Chun P's recommendations as we tour around Norway. He is usually spot on, but failed us here. The fish and chips are terrible. If you like things soaked and dripping in oil, this is your spot. But the fish is terrible, its just frozen bagged and breaded fish you get at the grocery store. Save your self the trouble, walk across the street to the Mueller bakery in the aquarium and get a delicious looking salmon sandwich for 5kor more. We had some of their baked goods that were yummy.
