We booked an historic... read more One of the best hotels in Southern Norway. It’s quiet and every inch is beautiful—from the furnishings to the sweeping views of the fjord. We booked an historic room with a large balcony (highly recommend), and enjoyed the buffet (much better than Freitheim), the lounge and bar areas, and the easy access to the outdoors from the hotel’s pier. Fantastic location, clean, pleasant and service-oriented staff, the food was absolutely delicious, the Christmas food was in a class of its own. Great bathroom in the room with bathtub. 5 star hotel worthy Food drinks: The food was in a class of its own, having stayed at several 5-star hotels, this was fully on par if not better. Rooms: 5
