Very slow service almost 45 mins wait for food.Wife enjoyed the steak and unicorn pie I had the hanging kebab for £17 you expect more Chicken very dry hardly any taste to it,the onions and peppers were burnt so charcoal was the main flavour when eating those,Chips again just thick and dry had to ask for mayonnaise so I could attempt to eat them.if in need of a kebab you will find much better on just eat. Popped in for a Sunday roast, there is enough food to feed a small army. Roast beef was melt in the mouth, cooked to perfection. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert. Service was excellent with lovely staff. I will definitely be eating here again Service: 5 Location: 5
Dropped in for a bite to eat after a busy day exploring Chatsworth House. It was a Saturday around dinner time (with England playing in the rugby world cup semi final) so we were sceptical about getting a table. The lady who served us was excellent. She pushed a few tables together to accommodate our group of 9. The food took a little while to come out, but was very much worth the wait. The chicken tandoori kebab is incredible, but easily enough for 2! Great spot to visit if you are in Bakewell. Food drinks: Excellent pub grub. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 4
