For a quicker, more casual option, the Lunch Market Menu at £25 is designed to have you in and out within 45 minutes—perfect for those who want great food without the fuss or the expense. Chef Owner Lee Smith, who recently returned closer to his Mansfield roots, brings over 16 years of culinary experience to Lovage. Fantastic lunch for four. Lovely surroundings, really excellent unhurried, helpful and friendly service and really really great food (we had the lunchtime tasting menu every course was a hit). Best meal we've had in a long time and we would definitely come back. My wife and I went to this restaurant in autumn last year, and we’re siting here today (in Argentina) still talking about the steak we had there, and how it still ranks as the best I’ve ever had, the wine pairing was perfect too, as was the service. To this day, it’s still one of the best dining experiences my wife and I ever had. It was the perfect evening, and we’re looking forward to coming back again one day soon.
