This restaurant was recommended by a friend and he was right. It is a very good place to enjoy some tapas. Everything was really good and the staff friendly.
Good food in a simple eatery. Everything was delicious. Despite being located in the promenade facing the port, parking isn´t a problem. The menu is based on Galician dishes and helpings are big. Average prices. Efficient and nice staff.
Nipped in for lunch on a busy Sunday in Baiona and we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of food and service, followed by very reasonable bill €37 for two mains of fish, a beer and a wine . Our mains of fish were delicious and served with potatoes veg isn't an often served side in Galicia we've found and were top quality, fresh, and cooked excellently. Staff are helpful, but it does help if you at least try and speak a little Spanish they appreciate your efforts, even if pronunciation isn't perfect . We'd definitely return when we're next in Baiona which we'll also be returning to!
Nice people and the best paella. Also rich filled soup and good coffe. And of that for a very good price. Excellent!
We stopped into Baiona on our way from Tui to RIBADEO to see Parador Baiona and to see the Pinta in the marina. We wanted lunch in Baiona and settled on this restaurant due primarily to its excellent location. My husband had a bowl of Galicia soup and the baked hake and my daughter I both had the chicken milanesa. Each of our meals was delicious. I give a 3 score because we were the first table seated and the service was really slow especially when we had to ask 3 times for our bill so we could be on our way. I also did not like that we were charged 3 euros for bread which was brought out without advising there would be a charge. The bread was delicious and I would’ve agreed to have it but I think the waiter should advise. Our total with 2 large bottles of water was 40 euros ... very reasonably priced.
