We mostly dine in Pho Hoa when frolicking in SM North. Ever since I've eaten noodles in Vietnam, I simply cannot forget it! Pho Hoa executes the Vietnamese recipe well and offers high quality noodles. Despite being a fan of Japanese cuisine, I prefer Viet noodles than ramen. It's that good!

What Corbin Reilly doesn't like about Pho Hoa:
Food: 3 Service: 2 Ambience: 2 Price: 2 The food is okay especially if you want to satisfy your pho cravings. However, the restaurant has a musty and weird smell. Staff were grumpy View all feedback.

I'm glad that I was able to try this place! I was a bit skeptical at first because I thought that it wouldn't be distinct with its roots. Being known as a Vietnamese restaurant, Pho Hoa caters to a hefty selection of its cuisine. I have tried their Pho Nam, Bo Vien (Pho with Flank and Mushroom meatballs). It was very light and earthy(the flavors came from the mushroom and the cilantro). It is balanced by the tender and meaty flank its served with. I loved how the textures of the dish played to give it more character. The rice noodles were firm, the meatballs were soft and chewy, and the flank was fork tender. Another dish we had was the Vegetarian Cha Gio (fried Vietnamese rolls with pork, with lettuce). It is crisp, savory and not too oily. I just hoped that the vinegar was not too sweet.
Daaaaaaaate tip! Order a large pho and extra noodles! You can thank me later. Beef Pho Nam's beef is sooooo soft!! The texture and taste was nice.

Pho Hoa is my go-to if I want a quick noodle soup to heat my insides. I love their beef stew pho, and we always order fried spring rolls. I admit I have yet to try a lot of their menu items since the pho and rolls are staples.
