I was really impressed with the taste and quality of the free tapas here! We sat outside, on a busy night watching the locals laugh and socialize. What fun! The energy around this place was great!

The food was pretty good, the tapas with the drinks was very good. What did bug us was being charged for bread with our main dishes (we didn't request it) and the wine (which was standard house wine out of a huge bottle) was more expensive than anywhere else in town. Just felt as we are foreigners they took advantage... which is really rare in inland Spain. Disappointing and not returning.

Proper old fashioned tapas bar. Pedro the owner will produce a delectable plate of tapas for every round of drinks that you order, and drinks are a decent price. We received a plate of bread topped with spanish jamon and fried quails eggs with the first round and a plate of freshly cut spanish jamon serrano with olives with our second round. We also ordered a dish of varied tapas which is highly recommended between 4 of us, 2 large pinchos (kebab), 2 large meat/potato croquettes (I think they were called bombas), typical warm chorizo buns (yummy), and cheese ham montaditos, two stolichnaya vodka/cola, 4 sherries, 2 water bill came to 27eur. Totally reasonable and a great experience. As we were lucky enough to be there early and in low season, we had no trouble sitting at the bar, but the place is small so is sure to get packed.

This is a bar mainly frequented by locals (no English) where they served us free tapas with our drinks; a dying institution. I presume this was standard because it happened on the two occasions we went. The prices were standard (less than 2Euros for a drink of wine) and the food was free. They chose the food, we chose the drinks. The tapas was basic food; cheese, bacon and tuna on toast, pork steak on bread, clams, etc. Not 3 star Michellin but good enough. It’s a small local experience which we will remember. When we entered the second time the barman gave us a nice smile. No English or Spanish was required for him to say 'I 'm pleased you came back '. There may be many like it, but it’s the one we found. If you are in the area, drop in for a drink and see what happens. It’s centrally located on the right at the top of Calle de San Pablo (main shopping street) which runs off Plaza De Espana in Baeza

Very good. the service is very good and the food is excellent as at home the truth is that to a good place to spend a good night or a good night
