We split the tomatoes and onion salad, then each h... read more Excellent local Spanish cuisine in a very pleasant atmosphere on the edge of the main park in downtown Baeza! We split the tomatoes and onion salad, then each had the bacalao dish with a really nice bottle of local red wine! I decided to try the Postre Victoria (apparently, our waitress, who also appeared to be the manager/owner, designed the dessert), and it was delicious as well as quite imaginative: bread, chocolate, blue cheese, and olive oil! It was awesome, and not heavy at all! Overall, a great experience! Don't miss this place!

By accident we found this, a clue to its popularity visible in the many occupied tables. We had a simple lunch of cheese and pate accompanied by a house salad. Very very good. Service very friendly, entirely in Spanish. Google Translate worked a treat.

We tried Baeza tomatoes in a salad with onion, fried artichokes (excellent, do not forget them! and lomo with omelette. Really very high quality food, to which we followed a dessert and coffee. Accompanied by a bottle of Finca Valdelayegua of the Prado Rey 2014 winery, also this remarkable. The service is friendly and fast. All for less than € 20 each (we were 7, we took a few servings for each dish, they are very abundant . Really a pleasant surprise!
