Nothing extraordinary, but still the best meal we had in Bad Schandau. My wife loved her local fish dish. My schnitzel was just OK. Traditional food, done well—the kind of place where most things come with fries, but they’re pretty good fries. The wait staff was very patient with us (we have no German, and they had little English). If you’re going to have a meal in Bad Schandau, this is an excellent option. View all feedback. The portions here are very generous. My Dresdner Sauerbraten was absolutely delicious. Service is friendly and fast. The courtyard seating is very pleasant. Fairly small menu (generally a good sign), large selection of beverages. I recommend this eatery. View all feedback.

Hühnerschnitzel was exactly what I needed after 7 hours of walking. exchanged the potatoes for bratkartoffeln and could not have been happier. that was it.
Consistently excellent eating and a very nice culinary experience. three times there!
