What Cierra Boehm doesn't like about Mensakaba Geishu:
Most people probably don’t know about this but at the end of Aguirre Avenue in BF Homes is a restaurant that serves a good bowl of ramen. When we first started out this blog, this was supposed to be our first entry but we opted not to write about it. We haven’t gone back until now.

I'm too home with this resto and I'm already a parent. the personal there already knows my favorite and they make it good for me every time. I have good relationships with the staff.

From their service to their food, they just offer the best! Highly recommended to those who were planning to eat at BF! We went here on a sunday and we lined up for about 30 minutes. We don't have a problem lining up because I think it is worth the wait. They had this jolly waitress who took our order. She was welcoming and suggested that we try their black tantanmen. She told us that it was their special menu. They changed their special menu because a lot of customers were ordering black tantanmen. I forgot what was the name of their new special menu but she said it has ribs. Probably we'll try that soon. I loved every bit of my ramen. The broth was rich with flavor and the noodles has a nice texture. It looks appetizing. Their gyoza was yummy as well. I can't say enough on how good our time was spent in this resto. It really is a hole in the wall.
Been here several times and loved that the place feels like a legit Japanese restaurant. Not the fancy type but the homey, comfort food type of restaurant. Everyone there is happy and smiling and sometimes perky even just before closing time. Lines could get long so be there a little bot early or late...you know what I mean. Parking could be quite a challenge too. Now off to the food. Shoyu Ramen - this is legit! Depending on where you're seated, you can sometimes see how your food is prepared. A Japanese head chef prepares each ramen bowl with gentleness and care and passion and love. The bow contains a hefty amount of chasu so i don't advice getting extra for your ramen unless you're really heavy on the protein. The noodles are cooked to perfection. The broth is really tasty and makes you feel earm and fuzzy. It also comes with an egg and mushrooms. Chasu Rice - this is the bomb! Everyone should try this! They cook their chasu in some sweet brown sauce and top it on rice. I love ordering this with extra egg. Love love love. Every bite is love! BTW, they sometimes have this funny but entertaining show going on in TV. It's about a (thin) Japanese man who goes to restaurants and eats. It's not like a show that reviews restaurants like in TLC. It's more like a sitcom/drama of sorts. Love watching that show while eating here. Lol.
