We had dinner there last night after 8 p.m. The drinks were served fairly quickly, but we had to wait almost an hour for our food. I had ordered a pizza with prawns, rocket and pamesan, which was also served, but I still had to pick the 6 prawns apart completely myself, but the pizza had to cool down first. I was only able to eat half of it, after which I lost my appetite because the prawn antennae on the other half were baked into the cheese and so the rest of the pizza went in the trash. When I asked for a fresh towel, I was told that the toilets were in the basement. My friend had ordered canneloni, an indefinable minced casserole with something came. When we informed the waitress about our unsuccessful meal, my friend got the second warm beer for free. We wanted to have a receipt and we were given a note as an invoice, you could almost think that black money laundering was going on there... The cash register is supposedly defective, but to be honest it has been broken for over 3 months as we have read?! Unfortunately the money is gone and we will certainly never go there again. Then we saw why: the banana split consisted of a tiny banana, a lot of cream and three tiny scoops of ice cream. Banana is usually on both sides of the plate, with the ice cream in the middle and the cream on top. Here part of the banana was under the ice cream, so the balls were tiny and where the banana was there was only cream and more cream on top. The chocolate cup was more than half cream. The service was overwhelmed, it was peak meal time, but you still had to manage to bring out two ice cream sundaes at the same time. The spoons were pressed directly into the hand or placed on the somewhat sticky tablecloth. At other ice cream cafes, the cup is on a tray and you get a napkin. That wasn't all. Something like that is not possible and we have never experienced anything like it on the whole of Rügen. And things used to be very good here.
