What bparkercars likes about The Queens Head:
Small but traditional old pub in the old town with a small courtyard at the rear. Quaint. Popular with locals and worth seeking out. Very welcoming barman and nice atmosphere. Could do with a little more ale choice but a minor detail. View all feedback. What Dfurdog doesn't like about The Queens Head:
I visited the Queens Head on Sunday evening for a drink. It is a charming and well-designed pub in the historic old town. Unfortunately, my experience was ruined by a group of rowdy, drunk locals. The loud music and uninterested bartender on her phone further detracted from the experience. The beer selection was lacking and they had run out of most options. They also had limited wine choices and only offered warm mix... View all feedback.

Tony was so helpful and accommodating when we held our Dads wake at The Queens Head. It’s a lovely, cosy pub and can’t thank Tony enough

Nestled in Aylesbury's historic old town, The Queens Head showcases a blend of charm and potential. While the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff create an inviting ambiance, experiences can vary significantly. Some patrons rave about the hearty, homemade pub fare and the exceptional value of Sunday roasts. The menu is complemented by a friendly family vibe, perfect for casual dining. However, others have noted issues with noise, a limited drink selection, and lapses in service, particularly during busier times. Despite its faults, The Queens Head remains a local favorite worth a visit for its heartwarming hospitality.
