We had a wonderful Saturday lunch with our daughter. The pub has a charming atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious, and we can't wait to come back again soon. Just a heads up, it does get busy! View all feedback.

What Paul M dislikes about The Pointer, Brill:
Okay 3 stars is kind of a relative score. I had expectations of the Pointer because it has (had) a great reputation. But we had a very run of the mill experience there. The place was chilly and the staff kept leaving the door open... Food was pretty standard, menu choice had nothing exciting to offer. Couldn't really fault it, but it wasn't anything special. The pub was a delightful and inviting spot. Our visit was spontaneous, as we were unfamiliar with the area. We enjoyed a simple lunch of celery soup and sourdough bread, the combination of which was delicious. The zing of the bread complemented the soup perfectly. The Sunday roasts looked enticing, but unfortunately they were fully booked for lunch. We were thankful that they were able to accommodate us.

Fantastic hotel and pub with outstanding rooms, a wonderful dining area, and exceptional staff. It truly deserves six stars!
