Capri Bakery - Ayer
Capri Bakery
Description
Nestled in the heart of the community, this charming bakery and café offers an enticing selection of freshly baked pastries, savory items, and pizzas, along with a friendly atmosphere bolstered by a welcoming owner. While many patrons rave about the delectable treats, including praised cannoli and well-received torts, disappointments arise with stale and dry cakes. A particularly striking aspect of the establishment is a hidden shrine to a political figure, which may catch some customers off-guard. For those willing to navigate these mixed reviews, this local spot could still satisfy cravings for sweet and savory delights.

The German Chocolate Cake and Lemon Mousse were old, stale and tasteless. Very disappointing.
The pastries and desserts made here are absolutely delicious. The presentation of the cakes, pies and pastries will make your mouth water.
This neighborhood bakery, café, and restaurant features an array of freshly baked pastries and pizzas. They also provide a range of savory dishes, cakes, and hot soups, along with freshly brewed coffee. The owner is friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. One great deal is their day-old pizzas, priced at just $1. However, I did notice that some of the cakes might not be fresh. I ordered a slice of chocolate raspberry cheesecake and found it to be hard and stale, as if it had been sitting out for a few days.
